Product Overview
The Gel Warmer comes as a part of ergonomic mobile digital ultrasound imaging system, which is lightweight and an innovative that gives high performance. The medical ultrasound images are created by computer and digital memory from the transmission and reception of mechanical high-frequency waves generated through a probe/transducer. The ultrasound waves spread through the body, producing an echo where density changes occur. The echoes return to the transducer where they are converted back into electrical signals, thus effecting the quality of images formed. The gel warmer is used to heat the gel, applied between the skin and the ultrasound transducer. For the comfort of the patient, it maintains the temperature of the heated gel and warms to room temperature. The temperature can be set by means of a knob and has 3 temperature range settings accessible to the user. It takes no longer than 3 hours to heat a full bottle of gel starting at 23° C. The assembly consists of a knob, a spring, harness wires, mounting screws and a warmer shell. It helps to make patients feel calm and relaxed.
