Product Overview
The External Radial Retaining Ring is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems. An E-Ring wraps around the shaft with the tooth like grip points that yield greater thrust load ratings and typically dig into deeper grooves than a wire ring. Crescent shape creates a low-profile shoulder for applications where clearance is at a minimum. The ring is assembled radially because of the crescent external retaining ring has a tapered section. Install the ring radially onto a shaft using an applicator. The radial assembly rings enable quicker installation than axially installed rings, but may require deeper grooves.
