Product Overview
The Harness Elevation Potentiometer T2100 is a potentiometer that is commonly used in electrical devices that are specially designed for changing the frequency level. It has the ability to maximize and minimize an electrical resistance. There are many forms of tapers, the linear taper is the most common. The relationship between the mechanical position and resistance ratio defines the potentiometer taper. A potentiometers can also be used as a single variable resistance, which is known as Rheostat. Resistors are integrated with potentiometers to make variations in the resistance. The resistor used in this component has a wire wound. To change the potentiometer, a linear taper is used along with the resistors. Installation of the potentiometer is done by attaching the mounting plate between the washer and nut. This washer and nut should be removed before fixing the plate. Applying force to potentiometer shaft results in the replacement of the entire potentiometer harness. The mounting type is a panel, which has a tie wrap that has high tensile strength with low insertion force. The tie wrap is available in a wide range of materials and sizes. The 3 position mating connector cover is 11.18mm in length and was a 8.51 width.
