Product Overview

The Ring Retaining 3.96 Shaft Diameter Crescent Stainless Steel is a ring that is used in the breathing system and condenser assembly of an anesthesia machine. C-clips ring use a tapered section to maintain circularity or possess tooth like grip points that yield greater thrust load ratings. Crescent shape creates a low-profile shoulder for applications where clearance is at a minimum. The ring is assembled radially because of the crescent external retaining ring has a tapered section. It is installed radially onto a shaft using an applicator. Radial assembly rings enable quicker installation than axially installed rings but may require deeper grooves. The stainless steel grade gives high strength and hardness and maintains its corrosion resistance even at high temperatures. The passivated finish enhances its natural corrosion resistant property. The tapered section style provides the ring with flexibility to facilitate installation and typically withstands higher thrust loads than constant section and spiral rings. It is used in XR Optima XR220amx, ARC Carestation 600, Aespire 7100, ARC Aespire View, ARC Aespire 7900 and other systems.
