Product Overview
The Seal Negative Pressure Relief Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) is a seal that is used in the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) which removes vented anesthetic gases in areas like operating rooms. This removal eliminates the possible long term health hazards for the exposed medical staff. AGSS has negative and positive pressure relief valves to prevent excessive high or low pressures from developing in the scavenging manifold and being transmitted to the patient in the breathing circuit. The negative pressure relief valve will actuate at approximately -0.3 cm H₂O and allows room air to enter the scavenging system to break the vacuum accumulated. The seal is placed in the cover of valve manifold. It provides a leak proof gas flow through the relief pressure valve. It is used in XR Optima XR220amx, ARC Carestation 600, Aespire 7100, ARC Aespire 7900, Aisys CS2 and in many other systems.
